Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are between you and CoverageCases, LLC ("CoverageCases," "we," "us," or "our"). Our public business address is 401 E. Jackson Street, Suite 3300, Tampa, Florida 33602, and our support email is admin@sanchezvaughn.com.

These Terms are version coveragecases-platform-v1.1 and become effective on July 21, 2026 at 10:55:20 a.m. Eastern Time only when that exact version is activated by CoverageCases. By creating or continuing an account after activation, you agree to these Terms and the other documents incorporated into this platform version.

CoverageCases is a business-to-business technology platform intended for licensed attorneys seeking or offering discrete court-appearance coverage and related attorney coverage services. CoverageCases does not provide legal services, practice law, represent clients, or create an attorney-client relationship with any user or client.

CoverageCases does not connect prospective clients or members of the public with lawyers. It does not refer, recommend, rank, select, or endorse attorneys for prospective clients and does not sell or route consumer legal leads.

The owner has adopted the compliance conclusion that the product, while operated according to these facts, is not a qualifying provider under Rule 4-7.22, Rules Regulating The Florida Bar. That conclusion is supported by documented oral, nonbinding Ethics Hotline guidance; it is not a formal written opinion, binding determination, or approval by The Florida Bar. A material change to the product model requires renewed review.

Marketplace access is limited to approved attorney accounts. You must provide accurate information, maintain control of your login credentials, keep your contact and Florida Bar information current, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

CoverageCases may review public Florida Bar information and account submissions, but verification is a point-in-time administrative control, not a guarantee of identity, competence, availability, good standing at every later moment, or suitability for a particular engagement. Each attorney must make all independent checks required by law, court rule, professional responsibility, and the circumstances.

A requesting attorney may post a proposed coverage opportunity, and an eligible coverage attorney may independently decide whether to accept it. CoverageCases is not a party to the resulting attorney-to-attorney engagement and does not supervise, control, guarantee, or enforce either attorney's performance.

Before substantive work begins, the attorneys must make a separate written agreement addressing scope, authority, fee, payment timing, cancellation, client communication or consent, confidentiality, conflicts, competence, supervision, trust-account and fee-division requirements, taxes, records, and any other professional obligations. A request, displayed amount, or platform acceptance is not a substitute for that separate written agreement.

Each attorney remains independently responsible for authority to engage or appear, conflicts, competence, scope, deadlines, client communication and consent, confidentiality, supervision, good standing, court and local rules, and all other professional duties.

Before acceptance, a coverage attorney must affirm engagement-specific professional-responsibility checks and the requirement for a separate written engagement. Platform eligibility or another user's statement does not determine whether an engagement is professionally permissible.

Use only the minimum scheduling and logistical information reasonably necessary to coordinate coverage. Do not submit privileged strategy, confidential client communications, Social Security numbers, complete dates of birth, financial or health information, passwords, authentication secrets, unredacted discovery, or other sensitive records.

CoverageCases does not offer a launch-ready confidential document repository or secure file-transfer service. Attorneys must use a separately evaluated secure channel for pleadings, evidence, client files, substantive legal strategy, and other confidential materials.

You may not use CoverageCases unlawfully; impersonate another person; submit false, misleading, or unauthorized material; probe or disrupt security; scrape or resell account or marketplace information; introduce malicious code; interfere with other users; or use the service to solicit or match prospective clients with lawyers.

You may not imply that CoverageCases or The Florida Bar recommends, endorses, supervises, or guarantees any attorney, engagement, or result.

Marketplace access may require the separate CoverageCases technology subscription. Subscription price, trial, renewal, cancellation, refund, and failed-payment terms are governed by coveragecases-subscription-v1.1 and are separate from every attorney-to-attorney engagement payment.

CoverageCases may deny, suspend, restrict, or terminate account access for eligibility, verification, payment, security, legal, professional-responsibility, policy, or operational reasons. New marketplace activity may be blocked immediately when an account is ineligible or a subscription is not active.

Where technically and legally available, limited access needed to view, message about, or complete an already accepted engagement may remain during wind-down. That limited access does not restore eligibility for new activity and does not relieve either attorney of duties that continue outside the platform. Billing-management and cancellation access remain available to an existing billing customer.

CoverageCases accepts account, billing, privacy, security, and platform-conduct complaints through the Support and Complaint Procedure. We may review platform records and account access, but we do not adjudicate legal-service quality, malpractice, professional discipline, direct engagement fees, or damages and do not provide emergency service.

CoverageCases does not guarantee attorney availability, acceptance, appearance, performance, communications, court action, outcome, uninterrupted service, data preservation, or third-party systems. The platform and available information are provided on an as-available basis subject to these stated limitations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes obligations or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. These limitations do not excuse CoverageCases from the express privacy, billing, or support commitments in the activated legal package.

Florida law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable federal jurisdiction, exclusive venue for a dispute with CoverageCases lies in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

These Terms do not require predispute arbitration and do not include a jury-trial waiver or class-action waiver. The parties may voluntarily agree to mediation or arbitration after a dispute arises.

A material legal change requires a new immutable version and fresh affirmative assent before affected marketplace activity. Prior assent records are preserved. You may print or save this document.
